Based on Derren Brown's show where he correctly predicted the resulst of the National Lottery using the "wisdom of crowds" method, we decided to put his stunt into a real test! Can something like a crowd of random people correctly predict the results of the lottery? We are about to find out!

We decided to do this experiment in a much larger scale and instead of 24 people Derren Brown was originally using, we will use the crowd of the whole nation by using the internet!

This is how we'll do it:

• Every registered user will be able to post his/hers DailyPlay prediction for the next Saturday's draw for up to 24h prior to the draw.
• On Saturday morning before the draw, we'll reveal the final prediction using all accumulated numbers from all participants.
• To make it even more interesting, we'll reveal the prediction generated by our system using exactly the same amount of combinations as human participants.
• We'll combine humans prediction with the computer prediction to see if this can get even more accurate results.
• And finally we'll wait for the draw to find out the results.

Bear in mind that this is not a scientific way to get the winning numbers but is based purely on the myth which we try to exploit.
